- We request at least a one-week notice before terminating an assignment.
- We do our best to place you on assignments that meet your skills and needs, but please be flexible and understanding if an assignment fails to go as planned.
- Check your calendar before accepting an assignment to be sure you have no appointments during the assignment. If you tell your counselor before accepting, most times arrangements can be made.
- Treat each assignment as though it were a full-time job.
- Be prompt. Your counselor will give you directions and parking information. Always allow enough travel time.
- Dress within each company’s dress code. Your counselor has dress code information. Use excellent grooming.
- Follow all company rules and policies––including smoking policies. Your counselor can inform you of any smoking policies ahead of time.
- Keep absences to a minimum.
- Complete all assignments as committed.
- Take pride in your work and yourself.
- Temporary jobs often lead to future career opportunities.
- Personal telephone calls are to be used only for an emergency while on an assignment.
- Beepers and cell phones should be turned off while on assignment. Emergency calls from family, etc. should be made to Superior Staffing.
- Respect the company’s equipment. Do not use for personal use (phone, computer, postage, fax, etc.).
- If you are hired, your employment with the company will be on an at-will basis and either the company or you may terminate the employment relationship at any time, for any or no reason. In order to receive a favorable reference, a one week notice is expected.
- While on the assignment, interviews are to be scheduled before work, during lunch or after work.
- Personal belongings must be kept to a minimum. Please remember your assignment may end at any time and it may not be possible to have your personal items retrieved.
- Superior Staffing Inc. employees are not to be driving for the employer during work hours, handling cash, credit cards or lifting.
- It is NOT necessary to call us to tell us you are available or to “check in.” You can trust your counselor to call you when he/she has an assignment for which you are qualified. The counselors need to have their phone calls from employees kept to a minimum so they can COMPLETE MORE CUSTOMER CALLS TO FIND MORE JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU.
